At the Annual Meeting, Members of the Woodlands Bar Association elected a new Board of Directors and Officers for 2013-2014:

Recently selected to receive the Stars of Texas Bars Award for Star of Achievement, and a past recipient of the State Bar of Texas Award of Merit, the WBA is excited about the upcoming year with many new faces and outreach programs.
“I am looking forward to our Board’s continued service to the community, as well as increasing our presence and elevating the stature of the profession,” said Speight, “and we are excited that we can use our unique skills to contribute to the growth and prosperity of the community.” The newly-elected Board plans to continue all of its current programs, including the successful monthly Continuing Legal Education program, the Veteran’s Program, the Legal Line.
