MCLAC (Montgomery County Legal Aid Coalition, a collaboration between Lone Star Legal Aid, Woodlands Bar Association, Montgomery County Bar Association, Beacon Law, Dispute Resolution Center of Montgomery County, ExxonMobil Law Department, Montgomery County Law Library, Tahirih Justice Center and the Strong Law Firm) held their monthly free legal clinic on October 20, 2017. The MCLAC Clinic saw 25 applicants seeking legal advice and legal services.
Prior to the clinic, Lone Star Legal Aid handed out awards to ExxonMobil Law Department, the Strong Firm, and the Dispute Resolution of Montgomery County for their support of MCLAC and its free legal clinics; WBA pro bono coordinator Patricia Chapman received an individual award for her service through MCLAC.
MANY thanks to our wonderful pro bono attorneys who attended the clinic and helped our community. Those pro bono attorneys are: Lone Star Legal Aid attorneys Sonia Lopez, Heather Keegan and Deborah Concepcion; ExxonMobil Law Department attorneys Dawn Norman, James Prince, Kristin Hulbea, Chris Corror, and Paul Wills; and Woodlands Bar Association attorneys Rene Rogers and Patricia Chapman.
