With the flooding in our area, there are many people who will need legal representation in dealing with the resulting flood damages. If you are a member of the ABA, you might be interested in an upcoming free webinar on representing disaster survivors. The topics in the webinar will help participants to:

- Recognize and assist with the most common legal issues faced by disaster survivors such as insurance disputes, FEMA benefits, landlord-tenant issues, consumer fraud, and more
- Connect survivors with various resources available following disaster, including the ABA Disaster Legal Services program, Small Business Administration, American Red Cross, and legal services organizations supported by LSC
- Navigate the myriad ethical considerations presented in disaster representation
The Webinar is free to ABA members (non-members will pay a fee of $25) and 1.50 General CLE credits will be offered. For more information or to sign up, copy the link below into your web browser.
