We are pleased to share that this inspiring contest hosted by the Montgomery County Dispute Resolution Center is back for 2024!
The contest asks Montgomery County K-8th students to submit original artwork reflecting a conflict resolution or prevention theme. There were over 1,400 entries this year from the talented youth in our county. See last years winners here.
The winning bookmarks will be displayed at the Montgomery County Memorial Library System, Central Branch.
Our WBA president, Heather Bustos, will give an inspiring speech to these young artists at the award ceremony. Judge Kathleen Hamilton will be handing out monetary prizes to the winning students as well as bullying prevention books to the schools that encouraged their students to apply.
All WBA members are invited to sponsor, volunteer, or attend this event on April 18, 2024. Come and see how Montgomery County's young artists portray peaceful dispute resolutions!
