2014 Woodlands Bar Association Future Lawyers Scholarships

This marks the second year for The Woodlands Bar Association to award scholarships to outstanding local high school students.  We are pleased to be expanding our program to now offer two Future Lawyers Scholarships for 2014 in the amount of $1,500 each:  the Future Lawyers Scholarship in Memoriam Ida G. Stewart,  and the Future Lawyers Scholarship in Memoriam Kevin T. Shea.  Applicants must have an interest in attending law school upon completion of an undergraduate program, and have aspirations of becoming an attorney.  This scholarship program is intended to recognize and encourage a spirit of community involvement and good citizenship among high school students residing in The Woodlands, Texas and the surrounding area.
These scholarships are open to all high school students who are residents of The Woodlands or Montgomery County at the time of application, regardless of the high school attended (public, private, home school, etc).  Applicants must be graduating seniors in good standing at their school at the time of application, and must be attending a four year University this Fall.

The deadline for receipt of completed applications is March 3, 2014.  The application may be downloaded via the link below.
